We had a 2008 M1000 on the dyno with our 1200 big bore kit installed and making great power. The base of the kit is a set of stock overbored cylinders and a BMP Billet Head kit. Exhaust is a user friendly BMP Fat Azz single pipe with BMP 1200 manifold. Exhaust valves are replaced with a EV Block off kit and fuel controlled with a Boondocker box.
Now to the numbers. HP came in at 224.7 @ 7600 and torque was an arm pulling 157.4 lb-ft!!

We have got the 2007/08 Cat 1000cc twin tweaked out and running great. 200 HP from a pump gas sled was only a pipe dream until Cat came out with the twin plug 1000’s. Now anyone can have a rocket with just a few simple bolt ons and pump premium gas.
The base of the kit is our new F1000 (or M1000 for the mountain guys) stamped pipe and BMP 1000 manifold. Next we delete the powervalves with a Powervalve Plus Kit, not only do these kits save weight and the hassle of the stock powervavles, but they help add mega mid-range power and create a much smoother power curve than stock. A BMP Billet Head is added for better combustion and more midrange HP and throttle response, as well as a few more peak HP. M-Series and Crossfire models should add a Timbersled Air Intake while the F1000 sleds can just open up the air intakes.

This is another F7 to F8 cast piston big bore kit that is rocking! Erich’s “Red Rocket” DTR shootout sled setup with BMP manifold and Fat Azz pipe, Billet head, VForce reeds, and timing key and is setup to run on pump premium gas.
These kits are great for anyone who wants to keep the great F7 chassis and blow away all of the new iron.
