Take precision control over your machine’s performance with the P22 Adjustable Detent Cover. Engineered specifically for high-stakes engagement tuning, this cover allows you to dial in your RPM starts with surgical accuracy without altering your top-end shift properties.
Performance Tuning
- Factory Feel: With no detents installed, the clutch operates exactly like a standard factory cover.
- Level 1 (3 Detents): Raises engagement by approximately 300–400 RPM.
- Level 2 (6 Detents): Raises engagement by approximately 600–800 RPM.
Note: Detents strictly adjust initial engagement. Once the clutch has engaged, they do not affect any other shift properties or performance curves.
Usage & Maintenance
- Drag Racing: Designed specifically for drag racing applications to provide aggressive, consistent launches.
- Trail Riding: This cover is compatible with trail use ONLY if all detents are removed.
- Wear Component: Detents are high-performance wear items and require periodic replacement. Replacement detents are available separately on our website.
