How it Improves Performance

The Turbosmart IWG75 Series benefits from an increased 'Working Ratio' over the factory equipment. This improved ratio is achieved through two key revisions:

1. Increased Effective Surface Area of the diaphragm.
2. Revisions to the Actuator Springs.

These changes result in greater leverage against the forces the actuator works against (boost and backpressure) while maintaining super-responsive operation.

Boost and Torque Benefits

Upgrading with the same base pressure as the factory unit will give you a broader boost and torque curve. You can expect peak boost to be achieved earlier in the RPM range and be held longer into higher RPMs.

These performance improvements can be amplified with higher base pressures, though this likely requires tuning and recalibration.
