ECU Selection & Hardware Footnotes:

1 Polaris MG1 ECU Unlock Procedure: Polaris models equipped with the MG1 ECU cannot be unlocked directly on the vehicle. You will need to remove the ECU from your machine and connect it to the proprietary Torque Link Pro Polaris ECU Direct Cable. Using the Torque Link Pro mobile app, you will perform a bench unlock. Once unlocked, reinstall the ECU into the vehicle—all future tuning, data logging, and diagnostics will use the standard Polaris HDMI Data Cable.

2 Can-Am MG1 ECU Hardware Lock & Mail-In Service: Can-Am vehicles with an MG1 ECU feature a strict hardware lock. These ECUs must be mailed to our facility so an internal specialist can physically solder a new chip onto the board. We will clone your original VIN and vehicle diagnostics directly onto the upgraded ECU before shipping it back. You have two options to manage this process:

  • 3 Free Exchange Option: Mail your stock factory ECU to us first. As soon as we receive and process your core, we will solder, program, and mail back your modified replacement ECU at no extra charge.
  • 4 Upfront Purchase Option ($789): To eliminate vehicle downtime, you can purchase a modified ECU outright up front. We will build and ship your new ECU immediately. Once you receive it and swap it into your vehicle, mail your original stock factory ECU back to us. Upon receipt of your stock core, a full refund of the $789 charge will be issued back to your original payment method.

⚠️ Catalyst / 858 Owners: The Arctic Cat 858 requires its own specific HDMI Data Cable and External Power Cable. Standard C-TEC2 cables from previous years are not compatible with the Catalyst chassis.
