Stage 2 Performance Kit for Polaris Patriot 850 (Long Track / Mountain Sleds) // SKU: 13-310-2-M
Stage 2 Performance Kit for Polaris Patriot 850 (Long Track / Mountain Sleds) // SKU: 13-310-2-M
Primary Application: Polaris RMK, PRO-RMK, Khaos, SKS, and Switchback Assault models equipped with 2.0" or deeper lug tracks.
Unleash a massive 20 to 21 peak horsepower gain and up to 22 to 24 mid-range horsepower gain over stock on your long-track Polaris Patriot 850 with the Bikeman Performance Stage 2 Performance Kit. Designed for serious mountain riders who demand maximum bolt-on horsepower, this ultimate performance package adds our CNC-machined Billet Cylinder Head Kit to our proven full-pipe, cooling, and clutching foundation.
Factory cylinder heads suffer from restricted coolant passages and tight squish bands that trap localized heat, easily triggering the stock detonation (DET) sensor and throwing your sled into power-limiting limp mode. The Stage 2 Kit overhauls combustion cooling, exhaust scavenging, ECU fuel/timing mapping, and primary clutch heat dissipation—keeping your engine pinned directly in its peak powerband without DET activation or power sag.
1. Choose Your Digital Tuning Platform
Select your preferred tuning delivery method from the dropdown options on this page to load Bikeman's custom Patriot 850 Stage 2 performance calibration:
-
Option A: Torque Link Pro (Mobile Smartphone Tuning): The ultimate next-generation mobile tuning platform. Flash your Patriot 850 directly from your Apple or Android smartphone via Bluetooth/Wi-Fi with zero computer required. Grants full access to tune libraries, real-time diagnostic engine logging, and fault code clearing trailside.
*REQUIRED POLARIS HARDWARE NOTE:* Flashing Polaris snowmobile ECUs via Torque Link requires both the Torque Link Data Cable AND the Polaris ECU Power Cable for proper communication and voltage supply during the flash process. -
Option B: ECU Hard Flash (Send-In Bench Service): The seamless "set-it-and-forget-it" setup. Simply remove your ECU and mail it directly to our facility. Bikeman calibration specialists will flash our custom tune file directly to your module, clone your vehicle data, and ship it right back ready to plug in and ride.
2. Select Your Billet Head Dome Elevation Specification
Every Stage 2 Kit includes our Billet Cylinder Head Kit (SKU: 04-318). Please select your primary riding elevation from the dropdown options on this page to configure your drop-in billet domes:
-
Low Altitude Domes (0–6,000 ft / 40.5cc / 11.8:1 Comp) // SKU: 04-318-L: Engineered for low-to-mid elevation mountain riding and crossover setups running premium 91 pump gas. Slightly lowers stock compression to suppress the DET sensor, allowing safe fuel map leaning for maximum, reliable power gains (+4–5 HP from head alone).
-
High Altitude Domes (6,000–9,000+ ft / 36.5cc / 12.5:1 Comp) // SKU: 04-318-H: High-compression mountain domes engineered specifically to restore lost cylinder pressure and maximize power in thin air (+7–8 HP mid-range / +5–6 HP peak from head alone).
3. Performance Bolt-On Hard Parts Included
-
Billet Cylinder Head Cover & Domes (SKU: 04-318): CNC-machined 6061 billet head shell with interchangeable domes designed to optimize squish band clearance, increase coolant volume, and completely eliminate DET sensor activation.
-
Fatt Azz Single Expansion Pipe (SKU: 01-328): High-volume expansion chamber finished in 1,300°F polished ceramic coating to maximize exhaust scavenging, build internal pipe heat rapidly, and unleash broad power gains.
-
Fast Reaction High-Altitude Internal Pipe Stinger (Part #: 01-328-H): Comes automatically included with the Fatt Azz pipe package. Regulates expansion chamber backpressure to ensure razor-sharp off-idle throttle response and consistent peak RPM in thin mountain air.
-
Ceramic Performance Exhaust Manifold (Y-Pipe) (SKU: 03-302-C): High-flow manifold that eliminates internal exhaust turbulence, reduces cylinder heat retention, and carries peak RPM further into over-rev.
-
Billet Cyclone Primary Clutch Cover (SKU: 05-CYCLONE-1): USA-made 6061 billet cover with integrated fan blades that actively draw cooling air across drive sheaves to drop clutch temps by 30°F to 50°F.
-
Complete Stage 2 SNYPR Mountain Clutch Kit (SKU: 06-37-302):
- SNYPR Adjustable Primary Clutch Weight Set (Includes tuning magnets, set screws & tungsten slugs)
- Primary Drive Clutch Spring (140-330 Rate)
- Secondary Driven Clutch Spring (160-260 Rate)
- Custom Cut Mountain Helix (Part #: 05-TSS-1)
- Smooth Shift Secondary Teflon Washers (2-Pack)
- Small Secondary Clutch Rollers for TSS / Polaris
- Comprehensive Clutch Setup Guide
Key Performance Features
-
+20-21 Peak HP & +22-24 Mid-Range HP Gains: Massive dyno-proven power increases across the entire RPM band by combining full-pipe exhaust, billet head cooling, and custom digital tuning.
-
Cooler Combustion & DET Sensor Suppression: Billet head shell with expanded coolant volume eliminates localized cylinder hot spots, keeping your engine out of limp mode on hard pulls.
-
Active Clutch Cooling Technology: Billet Cyclone cover forces continuous cool airflow over primary sheaves to eliminate belt heat-soak and ensure stable shift RPM.
-
Holds Peak Mountain RPM: Eliminates powerband sag and engine bog under extreme snow drag and steep incline resistance.
-
Lightning-Quick Powder Backshift: Instantly downshifts when cycling the throttle in technical terrain, putting track horsepower right back on tap without trenching.
Vehicle Fitment & Lug Depth Rules
-
SKU: 13-310-2-M
-
